COMPANY PROFILE AND PHILOSOPHY.

Established initially in 1979 as Geoffrey H. Ellis Pty. Ltd., Architects, The Ellis Group Architects has rapidly expanded and achieved a reputation for providing Architectural excellence for any type of Project.

Despite our success, the Practice acknowledges the ongoing nature of the Architectural Profession and Construction Industry and continually changes to cater for Clients demands for a Multi-Disciplinary and High-Tech approach to all Projects.

As an outcome of these requirements, the Company has responded by re-evaluating and restructuring the Practice and depth of resources. The structure matrix is characterised by individuals with complementary professional skills and talents, who can provide a specialised, integrated and interdependent team approach to all Projects aided by sophisticated technological and Project Management procedures and systems. Essentially we are a dedicated, dynamic and flexible team offering exceptional capabilities.

To highlight our expansion a name change was initiated in 1995, ultimately to enhance our profile, and maximise our opportunity and potential within a competitive market. Renamed The Ellis Group Architects, this initiative now reflects the size, strength, stability and ongoing success of the Company.


Over the past two decades the philosophy of this Architectural Practice has been to be the best and to achieve excellence in all aspects of Architecture and Project Management. To transpose the Clients desires, aspirations and visions into reality.

The objective has always been to deliver to the Client a structure of the highest possible standard in design and construction technology, at the most competitive and economical price.

In order to accomplish this aim, The Ellis Group Architects hasadopted a holistic approach, ensuring a dynamic and versatile team of experts in Design, Planning, Management, Technology and Quality Assurance, work collaboratively on all Projects. It is the stated intention of this Practice to provide personalised service to all clients with Directors and specialist team leaders maintaining an intimate and proactive involvement on all projects.
